Game Rules

The essentials

  • Cheating (rules 1, 3c, 3d, 3f: bots, macros, unofficial software, client manipulation, hacking) = permanent ban, no exceptions; donations protect no one.
  • Every ban is verified before being applied; we do not disclose how detection works.
  • Normal insults and game trash-talk are not punished; serious accusations, personal data, real-life threats, and racism are.
  • It is forbidden to advertise (even by suggesting or hinting) the buying, selling, or trading of accounts or characters under any circumstances.
  • Advertising a sale/trade for values outside the server (or taking the conversation to WhatsApp/Discord) is punishable.
  • A banned account can review its case and request a review (a single time) by logging into the website; no other channel is handled.

  12. Changes

These rules apply to everyone who plays on Old FasterOT. By creating an account, entering the game, or using any of our services, you fully accept them, together with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Read before playing: the rules below are strictly enforced. Every ban is verified before being applied. Cheating (rules 1, 3c, 3d, 3f: bots, macros, unofficial software, client manipulation, hacking) always results in a permanent ban, no exceptions: donations, playtime, items, or stated intent do not change the punishment (see section 10).

1. Bots and Unofficial Software

The use of bots is expressly forbidden and always results in a permanent account ban (see section 10). "Bots" also include: macros, out-of-client hotkeys, macro recorders, mouse or keyboard automation functions, and any other software or hardware used to automatically execute or repeat in-game actions. Common gaming hardware (high-DPI mouse, gaming keyboard, etc.) is not by itself a violation: what is forbidden is automating actions.

The only exception: one-to-one remapping of mouse buttons or keyboard keys (each physical button or key corresponds to a single valid game-client key, e.g., a side mouse button acting as F1, or CapsLock acting as F5). Any remapping involving multiple keys, sequences, automatic repetition (turbo/rapid fire), or action automation remains forbidden.

It does not matter whether the tool was "only used for fishing", "only for a few minutes", was left on by accident, or is allowed on another server. What is checked is the automated action itself.

2. Names

  • a) Names containing insults (e.g., "Bastard"), racism, extremist references or references to dictators (e.g., "Hitler"), infamous criminals (e.g., "Charles Manson"), sexism (e.g., "Bitch"), references to sex or related body parts (e.g., "Porn Star", "Nipple"), or offensive language (e.g., "Copkiller").
  • b) Racist names (e.g., "Arab hater", "White Power").
  • c) Names created solely to harass other players (e.g., "Fat Lord Nickname") or to threaten real people (e.g., "Killyou Inrl").
  • d) Names with meaningless combinations of letters (e.g., "Fgfshdsfg").
  • e) Names referring to real countries (e.g., "Swedish Druid").
  • f) Names created to impersonate other players (e.g., "Arieswer" instead of "Arieswar") or official positions (e.g., "System Admin").
  • g) Names advertising third-party brands, products or services, content unrelated to the game, or real-money business (e.g., "Dollars for Gps").
  • h) Names supporting rule violations (e.g., "Sellacc", "Botter Knight").

Names are reviewed upon report. The existence of a similar name in the game does not mean it was approved — it only means it has not been reported yet. A name tolerated for a long time does not become valid because of that, and nothing prevents a namelock once it is reported.

3. Cheating

  • a) Exploiting obvious game errors ("bugs"), for example to duplicate items. If you find an error, you must report it to the team immediately.
  • b) Intentional abuse of gameplay flaws, such as arranging objects or players so that others cannot move them. A passage may be occupied by one character at a time: a single character standing on the path is not a violation. Two or more characters blocking the same passage is a violation, regardless of whether they are controlled by the same person or different people. The same applies inside your own house. During wars or conflicts at that location and time, exceptions will be allowed.
  • c) Using tools to automatically execute or repeat actions without player interaction ("macros"). Permanent ban (see sections 1 and 10).
  • d) Manipulating the client program or using additional software to play. Permanent ban (see sections 1 and 10).
  • e) Using any kind of automation (e.g., homemade scripts, third-party software or services) to scrape player information from the website.
  • f) Attempting to steal, or stealing, data from other players' accounts ("hacking"). Permanent ban.
  • g) Sharing your account details with another player, or using an account whose owner gave you the details ("account sharing"), will not be punished, but is neither encouraged nor supported by the team: there will be no intervention if your belongings or account are stolen, and you remain responsible for third-party actions on your account. This applies to sharing only: advertising the purchase, sale, or trade of accounts or characters remains forbidden under any circumstances (see 6a-iii).
  • h) Multi-client: being connected with more characters from the same IP address than the limit allows. The limit is enforced by the server: up to 4 characters connected simultaneously per IP, and any connection beyond that is refused.

4. Gamemasters

  • a) Threatening a gamemaster because of their actions or position as a gamemaster.
  • b) Pretending to be a gamemaster or to have influence over a gamemaster's decisions.
  • c) Intentionally giving a gamemaster wrong or misleading information about their investigations, or making false reports about rule violations.

5. Player Killing

a) Excessively killing characters not marked with a "skull" on worlds that are not PvP-Enforced. Killing marked characters does not result in a ban. Automatic banning occurs upon exceeding the death limits set out in the "Server Info" section of this website, which can also be viewed with the "!frags" command in the game.

Duration. The length of this ban is set per world and is published in the "Server Info" section, along with the death limits. It may be progressive: on worlds configured this way, each new ban of this type lasts longer than the previous one for that character. The limits and duration therefore depend on the world the character belongs to.

6. Statements

a) Prohibited advertising

What counts as "advertising": making a statement public or reaching several players with it. The criterion is reach, not the channel.

Is advertising: a message in a public channel (Trade, Game-Chat, Help), yelling, and mass private messages sent to several players.
Is not advertising: a one-off conversation between friends in the Default channel, or a single isolated private message. However, using "private conversation" as a pretext to spread the offer publicly counts as advertising.

  • i) Advertising third-party brands, products, or services, including other games or their items.
  • ii) Offers unrelated to the game (e.g., "Selling a new phone for $500").
  • iii) It is forbidden to advertise (even by suggesting or hinting) the purchase, sale, or trade of accounts or characters under any circumstances.
  • iv) Including external contact methods in an advertisement (WhatsApp, Discord, phone, etc.).
  • v) Advertising accounts, characters, items, GPs, premium points, or services for values outside Old FasterOT, in either direction. This includes posting a seemingly innocent offer in a public channel and then asking for external values by private message.
  • vi) Whoever advertises may not move the conversation to an external channel (phone, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.) to discuss the offer.
  • vii) Whoever responds to an advertisement may also not move the conversation to an external channel.

b) Supporting rule violations

Encouraging others to violate the rules; for example, explaining how to set up illegal software, or stating "Only an idiot fishes without a macro", even as sarcasm or a joke.

c) Disclosing other people's personal data

Only the person themselves may share their own data. No player may disclose another person's real name, address, phone number, card number, email, marital status, sexual orientation, health condition, financial situation, etc.

d) Harassing players using their personal data

As described in 6c.

e) Threatening players in real life

E.g., saying you will find and assault someone, that you know where they live, mentioning their family, etc.

f) Racist statements of any kind will not be tolerated

This includes racial insults directed at a person — for example, calling someone a racial slur. The examples are not exhaustive, and claiming it was a joke, a nickname, or a reference to an in-game creature is not a valid defense.

g) Insults motivated by race, color, ethnicity, religion, origin, health condition, or disability.

h) Serious accusations and public defamation

Accusing another player of real crimes (e.g., pedophilia, theft, assault), addictions, sexual behavior, illnesses, or any socially condemnable conduct outside the game. This applies even if presented as a "joke", "trolling", or "provocation".

What is punishable and what is not (examples):
Punishable: "So-and-so is a pedophile" / "So-and-so stole at work" (6h); disclosing someone's phone number or address (6c/6d); "I know where you live, wait for me" (6e); calling a player a racial slur or any other racial offense (6f/6g); "selling this char, message me on WhatsApp" (6a); "just use a macro like everyone else" (6b).
Not punishable: "you're terrible at this game", "noob", provocations about in-game performance, heated discussions about in-game conflicts. Normal insults and trash-talk are part of the Old FasterOT experience and are not punished, as long as they do not involve the conduct described above.

7. Defaming or Inciting Against Old FasterOT

  • a) Publishing clearly false information about Old FasterOT or its services, especially to harm the server, may lead to punishment. Honest mistakes are not punished (e.g., getting the number of staff members wrong in an article).
  • b) Calling for a boycott against Old FasterOT or its services (e.g., calls to stop playing or stop donating) will be punished accordingly.

Criticism is allowed. Opinion and criticism, even harsh criticism, are not punished under this rule. What is punished is spreading clearly false information with the intent to harm the server, and organizing boycott campaigns.

8. Attacking, Disrupting, or Damaging the Operation of Any Part of the Services

a) Attempting to attack, disrupt, or damage Old FasterOT's servers or any part of its services (e.g., DDoS attacks against the game, login, or website servers) leads to permanent removal from the game and may also lead to a police investigation.

9. To Players Who Have Donated to Old FasterOT

  • a) Donating does not grant any special immunity against any type of punishment. You will face the same punishments as anyone else. Making an exception for a donor after a confirmed violation would be unfair to every player who follows the rules.
  • b) Donations from this season are not carried over to future seasons, nor do they apply to other servers related to Old FasterOT.
  • c) Payment disputes. Opening a dispute or chargeback on a payment whose credits have already been delivered is treated as payment fraud: all associated accounts are suspended. Access is restored only if the dispute is VOLUNTARILY canceled by the player before a decision is reached; disputes decided by the platform or the bank, regardless of the outcome, do not restore access, since dispute fees and risk penalties are applied to the server either way. Confirmed fraud makes the suspension permanent, with removal of the points and items derived from the disputed payment. Unauthorized use of your payment method (e.g., a lost or cloned card) must be reported through the ban review page: this case is treated as possible unauthorized use, not fraud on your part.

10. Punishments

Every ban is applied after the case records have been verified. Typical punishments are:

Rule Violation Punishment
1, 3c, 3dCheating: bots, macros, automation, unofficial software, client manipulationPermanent ban, no exceptions
3fHacking / account data theftPermanent ban
8Attacking or damaging server infrastructure (e.g., DDoS)Permanent ban + possible police report
3aBug abuse5–30 days; permanent in serious cases (e.g., item duplication)
3bGameplay flaw abuse3–15 days
3eAutomated data scraping from the website5–10 days + IP block
2Illegal namesName lock (forced name change); 3–10 days in serious cases
4aThreatening a gamemaster3–15 days
4bPretending to have influence over rule enforcement3–15 days
4cFalse report to a gamemaster1–5 days
5Excessive player killingAutomatic, applied by the frag system; duration in Server Info, may be progressive
6aIllegal advertising3–10 days
6bInciting rule violations3–10 days
6c–6hOffensive statements, disclosure of personal data, real-life threats, racism, serious accusations1–10 days; up to 30 days in serious or repeat cases
7Defaming or inciting against the server3–15 days
9cPayment dispute/chargeback on an already-credited paymentAll associated accounts suspended; restored only with voluntary cancellation of the dispute; permanent if fraud is confirmed

A ban for cheating is always permanent. For violations of rules 1, 3c, 3d, and 3f, the ban is permanent and does not depend on playtime, benefit obtained, stated intent, prior history, or donations. Verified cheating bans are not overturned; the review process exists only to identify factual, identification, or technical errors — it does not grant exceptions.

For all other violations, the duration within each range takes into account the severity of the violation and the player's history. Repeat offenses are aggravating factors. In serious cases, removal or modification of the character's skills, attributes, and belongings may also be applied, without any compensation.

We disclose the nature of each violation and the categories of records used in the decision, but we do not disclose detection methods, internal thresholds, or raw logs: details that reveal how the protection systems work could be used to circumvent them. The absence of published evidence does not mean the absence of records.

11. Ban Reviews

A banned account can view the details of its own case by logging into this website and opening the Ban Details page. This page is the only channel for requesting an administrative review of a ban.

Each case allows a single review request, which must be submitted within 7 days of the date the ban was applied — or, if the ban is shorter than that, before it ends. Permanent bans always have the full 7 days. The review exists exclusively to identify a possible factual error, identification error, or technical failure; it is not a plea bargain, a request for a second chance, nor a venue to claim ignorance of the rules.

Requests sent through any other channel (in-game messages, social media, apps, email, or direct contact with staff members) will not be processed as a review and will not receive a response about the case. Pressure, threats, donations, or attempts at personal contact do not influence the outcome. The Administration may request additional information through the case page itself and may reopen a case on its own initiative if relevant new facts arise.

12. Changes to These Rules

These rules may be changed at any time. All changes will be announced on the official website and will take effect as announced. It is each player's responsibility to stay informed of the rules currently in effect on the server.
