Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are an agreement under which the administration of Old FasterOT (hereafter also referred to as "Administration", "we", "us", "our") provides account access to play the online role-playing game "Old FasterOT" (also referred to as the "Game").
By registering an account, logging into the Game, logging into the website, downloading the client software, or using any other service, you accept the terms and conditions included in this agreement and all of its components ("Game Rules", "Privacy Policy"). By proceeding with any of the actions mentioned above, you also declare that you are of legal age in your country or have permission from your legal guardian to play this game.
2. Warranty
Use of the Software, Website, and all of our services is the sole responsibility of the user. We provide all services "as is" and "as available", and, with the best of intentions, we do not guarantee continuous and/or error-free operation of our services. We disclaim liability for any damages arising from possible unavailability or software errors. We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently discontinue, as well as to modify in any way, the Game and other Services, and we cannot be held liable for any losses (including, without limitation, any direct or indirect damages, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of information).
3. Ownership
All characters, virtual items, and other game-related data are our intellectual property, and we reserve the right to modify and delete such data without limitation. Users are granted access to this data under this agreement in order to participate in the Game. Therefore, expressions such as "your character", "your item", and the like do not define ownership, but rather the access granted. This access may be denied at any time, especially — but not limited to — in accordance with the Game Rules.
4. Disclaimer
We offer our services in good faith and strive to provide the best possible experience. However, we are not liable for service interruptions, rollbacks, losses, or damages that may occur during use of the Game. Old FasterOT should not be considered a job or a "play-to-earn" platform, and the virtual items and currencies in the game hold no real monetary value.
5. Game Rules
Old FasterOT is a game that offers competition and cooperation among players from all over the world. To provide fair and enjoyable gameplay for everyone, we have created an additional set of Game Rules (also referred to as the "Rules"). The Game Rules are announced on the website. Players must follow these rules at all times when entering the Game, the website, or any other service. We reserve the right to stop inappropriate behavior through temporary or permanent denial of access to the Game and other services ("ban"), in accordance with these rules.
A banned account may check the details of its own ban and request a single administrative review through the Ban Details page, as described in the "Ban Reviews" section of the Game Rules. This page is the only channel for the administrative review procedure; requests made through other channels are not processed as a review.
6. User Content
The user accepts sole responsibility for any content submitted to any of our services (e.g., forum posts). The user must ensure that such content complies with this agreement and does not violate the law or constitute a copyright infringement of any party. We are not liable for any sensitive information disclosed accidentally or intentionally through user submissions, for example, in public forum posts.
7. Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy rights of all users of our services. We are aware of the importance of these rights and are committed to protecting them and ensuring that all information provided to us is secure. We have implemented appropriate measures and procedures to this end. Please refer to the extended Privacy Policy to learn what types of personal data we collect and for what purposes.
8. Seasons
Old FasterOT may have seasons or special events of limited duration. These seasons or events may have specific rules and characteristics, which will be announced on the website before the season begins. Players are responsible for understanding and following the specific rules and conditions of each season or event.
9. Server Closure
We reserve the right to close the server at any time, either temporarily or permanently, without prior notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from the server closure, including, without limitation, game progress, virtual items, or any other aspects related to the use of our services.
10. Changes to Rules, Features, Spells, Items, Quests, Map, etc.
We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, features, spells, items, quests, vocations, monsters, map, and any other aspects of the Game at any time and without prior notice. It is the players' responsibility to adapt to these changes and continue following the rules and conditions established by the Administration.
11. Responsibility for Account and Registered Data Security
Users are responsible for the security of their registered accounts and email addresses and must not disclose their credentials. We are not liable for losses or damages resulting from account sharing, unauthorized access, or other actions that may compromise the security of the account or the registered email. In the event of account loss or theft, players must contact us immediately so we can attempt to resolve the situation.
12. Final Provisions
a) We reserve the right to deny access to our services to certain IP addresses in order to prevent unwanted activity, especially illegal activity (e.g., DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, or fraudulent payments). Payment fraud: opening a dispute or chargeback on a payment whose credits have already been delivered results in the suspension of all associated accounts. Access is restored only if the dispute is voluntarily canceled by the player before a decision is reached; disputes decided by the platform or the bank, regardless of the outcome, do not restore access, since dispute fees and risk penalties are applied to the server either way. Confirmed fraud makes the suspension permanent, with removal of the points and items derived from the disputed payment (see Game Rules, section 9). Unauthorized use of the payment method by a third party must be reported through the ban review page.
b) We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. Changes will be announced on the website and will take effect 7 days after the announcement. Users are required to review this agreement regularly to stay informed of any changes. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil. The competent forum for resolving any disputes is that of the user's place of domicile.
